CELEBRATING VE DAY
Our children had a great time last week at Pre-School celebrating VE Day!
The week started off with our children making their own bunting flags
Later in the week we had a tea party. The children made their own sandwiches & cakes and even poured themselves a nice cup of tea in the water play area.
SPRING IS HERE!
On Thursday at Pre-School we had a lovely visit from a very new Bollington resident.. a tiny lamb, just 7 days old!

It was a lovely opportunity for the children to learn about the world we live in, our community and life cycles.
The children listened and followed instructions well, for not just handling/stroking the lamb but also the importance of handwashing.

OPEN Morning!!
We are having an open morning on Saturday 5th July from 10am to 1.00pm
This is a perfect opportunity to explore our setting and staff will be available to answer any questions.
Art, crafts and sensory play will be available for the children to enjoy.

Oral Hygiene
Cleaning your child’s teeth should be part of their daily hygiene routine.

Out in the community
With it being such a beautiful day, the Little Explorers wanted to the make the most of it and took a trip this afternoon to The Rec…They enjoyed a run around with the football, went on a ‘bear hunt’ through the woodland and then once they got back read ‘We are going on a Bear Hunt’ story
We just love to get out into the community!
At Bollington Pre-School at any given opportunity we love to get out in the community..
The children have enjoyed a visit to Bellfield’s bakery, the canal and the Library
Online Safety
At Pre-School we encourage all parents and carers to monitor what their children are watching on social media to ensure that it is age-appropriate and suitable for them to watch.
Some programmes can be misleading as they often look like cartoons or educational programmes.
