About us

The Pre-School is run by a committee of volunteers who are usually parents of children attending the Pre-School. The committee is responsible for employing staff, managing finances and formulating policies. Meetings are held at the beginning of each month and new committee members are always welcome.

The Pre-School is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We are a registered charity and hence a non-profit organisation. We are registered with the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) as Early Years Education Providers and are subject to regulations.

Our building is well maintained and spacious with a large and inviting secure outdoor play area. The three rooms divided into areas for different types of activities and lends itself well to large or small group activities and free play.

Admission, Fees & Funding

Imaginative play provides the children with a means of communication with others and themselves.

Children can enter our Pre-School from Age 2. We do not require them to be toilet trained. Every effort is made to gently introduce children to the group. You will receive a free taster session to help your child settle into Pre-School life.

We receive Grant funded places for three and four year olds from Cheshire East Council. Priority has to be given to families receiving state benefit and children with special needs. After that, places are allocated in date of birth order with priority given to the oldest three year olds and those who have been attending Pre-School the longest.

Fees are currently payable at the end of each month and we accept virtual voucher payments. Fees are reviewed annually.
