About us

The Pre-School is run by a committee of volunteers, made up of parents with children attending the Pre-School and members of the local community and include qualified teachers and a qualified speech and language therapist.

Trustees complete DBS checks in line with statutory requirements. Trustees meet and visit the Pre-School once per term. New committee members are always welcome.

The Pre-School is a member of the Early Years Alliance. We are a registered charity and hence a non-profit organisation. We are registered with the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) as Early Years Education Providers and are subject to regulations.

Our building is well maintained and spacious with a large and inviting secure outdoor play area. The three rooms are divided into areas for different types of activities and lends itself well to large or small group activities and free play.

Admission, Fees & Funding

Imaginative play provides the children with a means of communication with others and themselves.

Children can enter our Pre-School from Age 2. We do not require them to be toilet trained. Every effort is made to gently introduce children to the group. You will receive a ‘Stay and Play’ session to help your child settle into Pre-School life.

Grant funded places are available for two, three and four year olds from Cheshire East.

A child is entitled to 15 Universal hours per week from the Term after they turn 3 years old.  If you are living and working in England, 3 and 4-year-olds may be entitled to an additional 15 hours free childcare. Therefore up to a total of 30 hours per week.

We do accept two year funded places                                                                         subject to eligibility.

Fees are currently payable at the end of each month and we accept virtual voucher payments. Fees are reviewed annually.
